I like to add up my nights for free stays. What they do is they average 10 nights for your free night stay. I literally paid $11 for an Embassy Suites in CA using my nights. The best part too is that you get credit for your free night too! The only drawback is some hotels give you the lamest room when you book through a 3rd party discount rate. Good to double-check and ask ahead of time for a good room!
Time Shares:
We recently purchased our first time share.. entry level through Hilton Grand Vacations. We have had great opportunities and many free hotel rooms through this process. Points and Open season bookings can really save you a ton of money in fantastic locations
. Not all time shares are equal so be careful when you take this plunge!
Double UP!
Whenever you can double up its great news. For instance, your a Hilton rewards member so you should be using a Hilton Credit Card when you are booking and staying so you use points and add to them at the same time. Use your Alaska Credit Card when booking Airlines. One thing that doesn’t help your points is booking a Hilton through Hotels.com, you won’t get double Hilton Points, just a credit of a night on hotels.com. BUT if you use your Hilton card to book your Hotels.com stay you are getting at least something.

When renting a car I always check Priceline first followed by Kayak. Get an idea of what cars are going for and how many people they fit. Checking to make sure there is unlimited miles available. Most if not all car insurance policy's cover rentals so before you waste your money on insurance upgrade, check with your own. Other option are renting a car through
This is a great app that you rent privately through owners rather than going through the bigger companies. You can get more specific with the type of car you want to rent and it usually is cheaper and nicer cars than what you will rent from the airport.

Budget - they are the worst!!! They actually band me from their rentals because I got overcharged on a trip that they would not honor so instead they just banned me. BYEEEE

to see what they have to offer in the city you are going to visit. From Restaurants, Spas, Outdoor activities, Nail salons and more, it's great to save some dough on vacation.
